Eastwood Airline Map FM
2021 Blueburst Flame
I purchased this Eastwood Airline Map FM from Eastwood Guitars on July 7, 2021. It has lived its entire life in my clean, climate-controlled, smoke-free studio. It has been babied and treated like the exquisite beauty it truly is. (It still has the protective plastic film covering the pickguard.)
This guitar plays like a dream, low smooth action, and it sounds fantastic. Think LP, but significantly lighter: tone-chambered body. The PAF-style pickups are full-bodied, yet airy and harmonically rich. You can go from crunchy Metal to jangle to jazzy. It is the best LP I have ever owned, and it looks stunning in person. This guitar was particularly difficult to let go, because it is so lightweight, and has such beautiful form factor. It feels amazing on a strap. It is contoured in all the right places -- front, back, even the neck heal. And (again!) it is lightweight for an LP-style guitar! The pickups are a dream. This will be somebody's main axe, I am confident.
I own almost 40 guitars. I am selling several studio guitars that simply don't get as much play time as they deserve. I have tended to reach for my PRS, Strat, or modern Harmony Jupiter for recording. And since I am not a collector -- am a studio rat -- it's time to let go of the ones that deserve to be played often.
Note: this guitar comes without a case. (I never, ever intended to sell it.) Rest assured it will be packed with the utmost professionalism and it will arrive in pristine condition. My packing is legendary on Reverb (look at my very happy reviews).
Shipping is free to location within the Continental U.S.
