I am the original owner of this rare Gil Yaron strat style
guitar. The design is based on a late
50s Stratocaster, with 1 piece alder body and maple neck. The guitar weighs 7.28pounds.
It’s been very well looked after and in excellent condition, with some minor
scuffs, but no chips. I’m selling this
at a very competitive price compared to other Yarons, as I need to release
funds.
Gil is renowned for using only the highest quality materials and
applying the highest-level workmanship to produce his guitars. The guitar is very resonate through the neck
and body and very load acoustically. It
has a big, organic sound, with fantastic playability. The quality of the tone is also driven by the
big neck, which is quite easy to play (even for those with smaller hands).
I’ve had mostly minor maintenance work done to the guitar as
follows:
· Frets
have been recently dressed due to a minor wear from years of playing, and now
plays smoothly
· I
changed the pickups at one point, but preferred the originals and had them
re-installed
· I
removed the treble bleed circuit (resistor & capacitor), which I ordered
originally in the guitar. But the circuit is included in the sale and can be
re-installed if desired.
