Languedoc Guitar Clone (Zuwei) - Upgraded Wiring and Bridge (READ DESC.)

Up for sale is an off brand Languedoc clone. Aesthetic-wise, it’s mint as I’ve only had it for a few months. It has some flaws out of the factory (tiny neck binding cracks).

- 24 frets, double truss rod
- Full hollow body (maple)
- Mini toggles have two positions
- Generic stock pickups
- Custom bridge ($60)
- Custom upgraded wiring ($140)
- Custom made tailpiece bracket ($30)

I bought this off ebay for $300 with the intention of fully upgrading it to be similar to one of Trey Anastasio’s Languedocs. After putting a lot of money into it (luthier fees were ($180), I discovered issues that may or may not be fixable. I’m selling it because I don’t want to risk spending any more money on it not knowing if the issues can be fixed.

Here are the problems:

1. With distortion, the guitar will occasionally make a higher pitched feedback sound. This could be an electrical problem related to the cheap stock pickups (I can provide a video of this). It sounds great on clean tone

2. Binding has very small cracks in 5 or 6 places and a few paint marks (see pics). The cracks are likely from poor/no humidity control at the factory

3. There is noise on different toggle positions w/ distortion that isn’t present with other guitars that I have. Some sort of electrical issue that can probably be fixed

4. Light buzzing when moving to fret to fret that is most noticeable when playing acoustically. This might be normal. I can’t say for sure since I don’t have much experience playing hollow body guitars. It could just be the resonance of the guitar rather than uneven fret levels. Luthier said neck and frets look fine.
