2008 Ibanez RG8420Z RG Series Electric Guitar with Case - Red Spinel

Up for sale - 2008 Ibanez RG8420Z in great condition and perfect working order.  The guitar is perviously used but is in "like new" condition - only shows slight wear in finish on guitar top. The RG8420ZD is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2008. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom line. This guitar is from the first year of production.

The RG8420ZD features a AAA flamed maple top with binding on an African mahogany body bolted to a titanium reinforced maple and walnut neck with Velvetouch treatment and a 24-fret selected rosewood fingerboard with flamed maple binding Tree of Life vine inlays. Components include recessed Easy Access control knobs, two Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups, an Edge Zero double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and a removable ZPS tuning stabilizer and Gotoh tuning machines and strap locks.

The RG8420ZD was discontinued after 2022.

The guitar has been professionally set up in-house which includes a fresh set of stings, polish and clean, oiling the neck, spraying out the pots if necessary, and setting the string height at a low-to-medium action. Includes original hardshell case, hang tags, manual, trem arm, tool, and COA.
