Professional ’62 S-Style American made guitar body. Expertly CNC machined requiring only finish sanding and wood finishing. American Sycamore when quarter sawn is the American exotic hardwood with beautiful rays and flecks evident. It is strong and hard and has a bright warm even tone that is distinct throughout the tonal range. This is the Sycamore that has been described as having angelic overtones.  It is solid and responsive when playing and also, the sustain is unbelievable. It has the same density as Swamp Ash and your finished guitar will feel perfect in your hands.  C.F. Martin & Company uses this wood in some of their acoustic guitars.

The pictures are of the actual item for sale. This piece is a full 1¾" thick but weighs only 4 Pounds 12.6 Ounces. It has gorgeous rays and flecks and will exhibit stunning depth when finished. My finishing suggestion for this piece is any type of clear coat finish. This will make a truly fine instrument and will come with a certificate of authenticity like the one shown. The finished guitar shown is the same type of wood with a tru-oil finish.
