A beautiful unlacquered Alexander 1103 with a Cornford leadpipe.
This horn is in pristine condition with the exception of a small pencil-tip ding on the bell tail.
This instrument has a fantastic sound. Complex and colorful without too being harsh or bright. Everything you’d want from the classic Alex sound while being a bit more free-blowing than an Alex 103. The low register in particular is nice and open and responsive. These horns are not that easy to find on the used market, so this is a nice opportunity to snatch one up.
In addition the the Cornford leadpipe, the horn has an adjustable pinky hook and handrest and a cork cover on the thumb lever for comfort.
