Gibson A-1 Mandolin 1914 - Playable Condition

Gibson A-1 Mandolin in playable condition. New strings and saddle; frets recently cleaned and polished. Based on the serial number (photo included), the instrument was manufactured around 1914. There are headstock cracks that have been repaired at some point in the past. There is evidence that the back was partially separated from the sides and later repaired. There are many other signs of age/wear - see pictures. Happy to provide additional photos or answer any questions for serious inquiries. Prefer to sell locally (Chicago Area), given the instrument is over 100 years old.
