Collaboration with Free-Way switch finally came to fruition! This new Free-Way switch (5L5-CJL) offers all essential modes from SETbucker HSH wiring without the hassle of tedious wiring/soldering with multiple toggle switches.

If you want to wire your pickguard yourself, message us. You can order a DIY kit with pickups for $299. It includes a pickguard, 2 SETbuckers and 1 single coil pickups of your choice, 1 Free-Way switch, 2 CTS A500k pots and 1 orange cap.

We offer the Floyd Rose tremolo version as well as the synchronized tremolo version. Both fits modern Fender Stratocasters with 2-3/16" neck heel and HSH/pool routing. However, it may not fit 80's and 90s MIJ Fender Stratocaster because they used to have wider neck heel and/or recessed (closer to bridge) bridge pickup routing. In such a case you may need to carve out the neck heel area of the pickguard and/or body routing.

Included:
- SETbuckers in the neck and bridge
- Single coil pickup in the middle (S-1N model)
- 1-volume and 1-tone: CTS low friction 500 kohm
- 0.022 µF Orange Drop capacitor
- 5-way lever switch: neck-neck/middle-middle-middle/bridge-bridge
- HB/SE/SET mode toggle switches for SETbuckers
- 11 pickguard screws (same as the ones used in Fender Am models)

Options to choose:
- Pickguard color: white, black or white pearl
- SETbucker set: see below for neck/bridge pickups.
- SETbucker pickup covers: no additional cost for open pickup. Additional $20 for Nickel and $40 for Gold.

Recommended SETbucker pairs (neck/bridge):

M-2N/M-3B: CJ's favorite pick for any type of guitars. It gives both crystal clarity on the neck position and solid power on the bridge position while keeping vintage vibe. The introductory video in the listing was recorded with this pair on an alder body/maple neck partscaster.

M-2N/I-2: similar to popular SD Hot Rodded Humbucker set (SH-2/SH-4) because I-2 is a replica of SH-4 (plus inner-coil). SE and SET modes are an added benefit of using SETbucker. I-2 is $10 more expensive but we offer no extra charge.

M-3N/M-3B: high power pickups. SE/SET modes offer a telecaster feel. Best suited for ash or swamp ash body guitars but also fits all other bodies very well.

M-2N/M-2B: cleanest and smoothest among all pairs, wound with SPN wire and AlNiCo5. They are super versatile and drive well.

C-5N/C-5B: for classical tone seekers (PE wire and AlNiCo5). Suits all types of guitars. Wound with classical PE wire, these pickups feel more woody and vintage than M-2N/M-2B pair.

C-2N/C-2B: AlNiCo2 magnet pickups for balanced vintage tone. Recommended for mahogany or ash body guitars. SE/SET modes are gritty and aggressive, though the HB sound is round and smooth.
