this guitar can do both deep rich tones or bright jangle or bright clear tones it has a wide sonic range. I had the guitar professionally set up by a luthier and had the stock pickups upgraded to Suhr Doug Aldrich pickups to make the guitar more articulate. The tuners are locking tuners for fast string changing! Really cool guitar in excellent condition, only slight surface checking from playing that’s normal for its age. It has been maintained and played and the frets are in excellent condition. The rosewood neck is sleek and fast! The strings are also new. Medium c shaped neck very comfortable and right in the middle of not being too thick or too thin.
This beauty was made by luthier Terry Mcinturff and features dual humbuckers and a 5-way switch and high quality stop tail bridge.
Serial number is 69814 which should mean it was made in 1998, but not certain...
Very comfortable to play with a great medium neck and nicely balanced. Weighing around 7 pounds. I don’t have the original pickups. The case is original and as far as I know everything other than the pickups are original. In my personal opinion of 20 plus years of guitar playing, working at a guitar shop, and playing 100’s of guitars, there are 2 luthier’s that are the best - Terry McInturff, and the other is David McNaught. Build, tone, neck stability, reliability, longevity, are all here thanks to Terry McInturff basically mastering how to build guitars.
