About This Listing

At just 25 pounds, the Tank 112 is the lightest entry in Boom Bass Cabinet’s power-packed line-up of portable bass cabs. But don’t let its bantam-weight fool you —  this is a robust cab with a punchy midrange and concrete-thick low end. The Tank 112 derives its surprisingly large sound from a single 12-inch premium Faital woofer and 300-watt tweeter, employed in a uniquely angled downward-firing configuration that accentuates bass frequencies while keeping the top end clean and articulate. For small venues, cafes, houses of worship, and more, the BBC Tank 112 makes for an ideal gigging cab — it's portable, powerful, and built tour tough!

Boom Bass Cabinets: what you don’t see is the difference!

As a bass player himself, Boom Bass Cabinet founder Drue Williams intimately understands the struggles of bass players who want to produce a big sound onstage without having to haul around a back-breaking rig. Drue parlayed his experience in carpentry to solve this problem. This resulted in the creation of a lightweight line of bass cabinets with innovative design features, including tilt-back front baffles, which direct the sound up instead of at your legs, and down-firing woofers that are installed inside of the cabinet and out of sight. By aiming the sound at the floor, the lowest frequencies become coupled with the stage, so you can literally feel the thump of your bass! Moreover, front and side ports disperse the sound 180°, filling any room with crisp, punchy bass tones. Available in numerous configurations, Boom Bass Cabinets are all equipped with a retractable handle and recessed casters — they’re the ideal bass cabinet for gigging bass players!
