At Dell'Arte, between 1997 and 2007 we built an international following for our faithfully crafted gypsy jazz guitars. The Dell'Arte Hommage is built in the style of the Favino (Jacques Favino), the largest of the traditional gypsy jazz guitars. This design is legendary among Gypsy players for its dry tone, volume and projection. We have made this model for Jimmy Rosenberg, Robin Nolan, Dorado Schmitt, Samson Schmitt, Tchavolo Schmitt among many. This was our best selling model ever!! (Petite and Grande Bouche) Long 670 mm scale, with a generous 1 3/4" nut for easy fingering. With back and sides of laminated Indian Rosewood,(like the original), a three pieces Maple neck and a top made of German Spruce. Schaller tuners, nickel plated Dell'Arte tailpiece, Rosewood bridge. This particular guitar doesn't fail the tradition! The volume and projection are out of this world . a "Gypsy" tone dry as a bone! Not many Dell'Artes of this model come around for sale in such a great shape. Sold with a hard hell case
