This Fender Precision Bass is Owned by Matt Freeman Of Rancid
Serial number: S905719 This bass has an awesome greenish-gold finish. There are lacquer cracks and finish checks throughout, as well as general scratches, scuffs and chips–typical of an instrument this age. There is one main cosmetic crack running across the body. There are some screw holes that have been left exposed by the bridge cover and thumb rest, which are not included. There is some missing lacquer on the neck and headstock, which can lightly be felt on the neck–though the neck still plays and feels nice. The electronics produce a fair amount of crackling noise and could likely benefit from a repair. Overall, this is bass has a lot of mojo and evidence of being well-used and well-loved. With some minor electronic repairs, this vintage bass will be in tip top condition and ready for a whole new life. Hardshell case included.
