For your consideration is this vintage 1969 Fender Precision electric bass guitar body. This awesome body was stripped and carved many decades ago. The amateur carvings reveal a precious owner’s name and a painted rose. It weighs 4 lbs 7 oz. It has an after-market Jazz Bass pickup route signed by John Suhr circa ‘84. There are filled pickguard holes, as it appears the pickguard was modified to reveal the carvings. There’s a hand chiseled notch out of the wiring route for what I assume to be a toggle switch mod if some kind. Super cool, lots of vintage vintage and authentic hippie/western/folk mojo!
