I am going to list this as "very good" despite a dented area shown in the last pic that has some tiny nicks on it. 18" Zildjian Crash with the 60s/70s 3 dot stamp (the one that is a little larger.. I've found this stamp on cymbals that resemble 70s zilds and ones that look more like 60s zilds.. and I'd say this is more like the 60s or even 50s look/make). It also has some hammer mark/pits shown in the closeups but those are mostly, if not all, factory. There's no cracks or keyholing. There's patina and stickmarks and scratches and discoloration and ink fade. This weighs about 1425 grams (about the weight of a thin crash that isn't super thin) and has "Medium" and "Crash" (two different inkings) inked on top. This inking was applied by distributors and not by Zildjian, so it is likely inaccurate (this is not what I would call "medium").. for those who don't know, ink on pre-70s stamp A Zildjians is typically *not* official even there is some amount of recurrence with the fonts (though, if you'll notice, "medium" and "crash" are in completely different fonts on this cymbal). MY OPINION ON SOUND: Full, straightforward, medium volume.. bright but not clangy or overly high-pitched.. lots of shimmer.. great vintage zildjian sound.
