Vintage 1960's Univox Custom ES 335 Hollow Body Electric Guitar with a newer Epiphone hardshell case. This guitar is mint and all original except for a very small binding separation which I have well pictured and will describe. This is a very rare guitar, any hollow body from the vintage Japan production era is desirable but this is one of their customs and is mint and all original, with a hardshell case.
This has a sunburst finish on a flame top and back, original white covered single coil pickups with bright white covers. The top, back, neck and headstock are all bound and the headstock still has the Univox Custom logo. This has block position markers up the rosewood fretboard as well. The biggest thing a lot of collectors will agree is amazing, is that this guitar has the original pickguard and tremolo bar, it is very hard to find those parts, and everything works wonderfully. All of the electronics are clean, there is no buzz on the frets while playing and there are no problems whatsoever with function.
The one and only problem can be seen in pics 7-9. Pics 7 and 8 show a small binding separation that isn't a crack but there is a space because the binding should be attached to the wood. It is about 2.5-3 inches long. In pic 9 I have a closeup of the top of the cutaway to show you that the separation doesn't spread farther than that.
It effects nothing, and will probably never spread. This guitar is just absolutely mint otherwise and all original and is a very rare specimen.
