This is a vintage 1965 Vox Hurricane with a Sunburst finish. Made in Italy for Vox by Eko, the Hurricane came from a family of 4 guitars - all a little different - that were inspired by Fenders of the same era. It features a contoured body, two chimey single coil pickups with a three-position switch, and a Bigsby-ish spring-action vibrato tailpiece.
It is in very good shape, with really cool finish checking, but has expecting nicks and dings here and there. As part of its tailpiece, there are plastic rollers tensioners, a couple of which are cracked, but with no affect to its bending function. Its pickguard has chipped in a few places, and it has gentle fret wear on its first few frets. This guitar has real mojo, plays great, and sounds awesome.
It has been professionally setup and comes with its original hardshell case, bridge cover, and super cool VOX pouch.
