10-1976  Kramer made American Showster AS-57 vintage guitar, looks just like the side of a 1957 Chevy Belair  the AS-57 is a culmination of a life long love of classic cars and classic guitars. Its body, shaped like the fin of a 57 Chevy, actually makes more sense as a guitar than a car. Because the top of the body is thinner than the bottom, and with the addition of the weighted end piece, sustain has finally been equalized between all six strings. Mounted with the three A/S Showster Single coil pick ups, the 57 delivers the bite of a Tele with the power of a Paul. This is not simply an attention- getter because of its looks.
