About This Listing
Up for grabs we have here for sale is something truly unique and one of a kind atleast as far as I can find. This guitar branded magenta came out of a trade that I had done recently. The quality and construction is conducive with a top not Japanese electric guitar but with a completely different feel. I would doubt that this came out of the Teisco factory.
The overall feel is some of the best that I have honestly ever felt and I’m not just exaggerating. I come from a background in fast playing shredder guitars and this feels right at home for whatever reason! The body is nice and light and super comfortable to play.
The neck is great though the frets themselves have been leveled all the way down and probably the reason why it plays so damn good! Reminds me of those old ghost fret guitars that have gotten a lot of bad rep over the years. The truss rod functions exactly as it should and the action is just great! No fretting out anywhere. It does appear that the neck was used on something else at some point checking out the other holes that are visible near the heel. This doesn’t affect playability at all whatsoever
The body is where this thing really shines and I can go on and on about how much i like this thing but I’ll just mention a few appointments. First off the natural body is super resonant the color combo of gold hardware accents everything very well. Including the naturally aged pickups.
The pickups in this guitar are the highly coveted Ibanez super 70s and were made by Maxon for the Japanese market. These pickups are hands down probably the best that you can get for nailing that Gibson PAF tone without buying the real deal. Super articulate yet bold and compliment this guitar perfectly. All of the electronics are in perfect working order.
