Selling my custom shop 1998 Parker Fly Artist. It was special ordered at the Parker factory to be a hard-tail,  Parker also flip-flop the pick-up selector switches to be closer for easier access. The finish is a beautiful and very rare Cherry Sunburst.  I am also including a new custom fit Hiscox case I ordered from England. These are fabulous cases and well known through out the world for their protective features and superior quality.  Ken Parker spared no expense when he chose them for his instruments. This guitar plays like a dream and is set for very low action. Mark Kane (The Fret King) in Cary, NC gave it a complete set up. Its currently set up with D'Addario NYXL 10's. The guitar is ding and scratch free.  The only signs of use are some extremely light swirls in the top coat in the pick area and a very small paint chip at the truss rod opening. Other than that the guitar is MINT Condition. I play primarily at home and its seldom left my smoke free home. There is very little play time on this guitar and its condition reflects that.  You may notice a silver sticker on the 24th fret with my name on it, don't fret it peels off and residue free.  This is probably the most versatile guitar I have ever owned. The tone control features a push/pull pot that allows you to coil tap your current pickup selection. The magnetic pickups are a little hotter that PAF's, which I prefer. The piezo pickups sounds great, I blend them with the magnetic pickups to get a really good acoustic sound. I have not tried it, but the Parker Forums report the Piezo pickups really shine when using an acoustic amp. The playability is superb, the low action and polished stainless steel frets make bending super smooth and almost effortless.  I am only selling this guitar to buy another one.  I am also including the original price tag ($4167.00), wrenches and Stereo/Mono "Y" Cable.

The Parker Fly "Artist" line is part of Parker's "Select" Series. These guitars are made by Ken Parker's best and most experience luthiers. This is truly a Custom Shop guitar. This guitar was made in 1998 when Ken Parker still had his original factory in Wilmington, MA. With the amount of custom work on this guitar it would not surprise me if Ken spent some time working on this very instrument. Its completely original.
