The Yamaha YFL 281 series flute is designed to give the student musician an excellent learning experience. This model features open tone holes, but by adding convenient flute plugs, it can easily be converted into a closed hole configuration. The specially designed embouchure hole allows for less resistance, which is a big advantage for the student musician. The body is a nickel silver body, that has been silver plated. This helps to produce a lush, warm and vibrant timbre. The keys have been placed to ensure good hand position and player comfort.
This particular YFL-281 flute is in good overall condition. It has been recently tested, evaluated and serviced by our in-house instrument technician. All pads are also in good condition; all are closing properly, with no leaks detected. This flute plays great and sounds great. It look good , also, but does show signs of usage and wear.
A case is included with this purchase.
