Up for grabs is a very unique instrument 1964-1966 Fender King acoustic. Here is the amazing story The guitar was in a house that was on fire, and a fireman stepped on the guitar and caved in the top. The house was saved, and the guitar was completely untouched and in perfect condition except for the damaged top. The Neck, back, and sides were mint. The guitar then came to Brandon Madrid Luthier in San Diego. He took this dreadnaught acoustic and made it one of the most amazing playing and sounding thin-body semi-hollow archtop electric guitars. He cut the width of the body in half, put a block down the middle like a ES-335, fitted a new maple top loaded it with Humbuckers, and made it play like an electric guitar. It’s such a cool idea! The neck on this guitar is just as it came off the Fender King, it plays like a pure vintage Fender. Neck feels amazing. The body has more Gibson hollow-body appointments with the humbuckers, center block, tune-o-matic bridge, and classic Gibson tone/volume configuration. You will never find another one!
