VERY RARE Fender USA-Made CSR10 Custom Shop Rumble Bass 300 Watt Tube Head and 4-10 sub cabinet for sale!

You don't see too many of these for sale anywhere! Built one-by-one in the 90's, this was Fender's answer to Ampeg's SVT. Packing a powerful 300 watts, this amp features two separate channels that can also be combined. Channel A is Fender's classic clean circuit, offering up warm tones and retro vibe. Channel B offers a beefier circuit with more gain. In addition, both channels can be combined for further tonal tweaking. I have never heard this kind of tone out of a bass rig of any kind...indescribably steller !!

The Rumble 300 combines the classic Fender Bassman sound on Channel A with the hot and punchy SVT sound on Channel B...combined, you have incredible tone you likely have never experienced.  Simply amazing!

These tend to run hot due to a Fender design error, so I have added 4 fans to keep her cool (the first early production amps had no fan at all).  There are a lot of blogs out there talking about the reliability and heat related issues of these amps.  When I purchased this one it had an issue with motorboating on Channel A due to a bad preamp tubes...I tested all of the tubes and changed the bad ones, cleaned all of the tube sockets and checked for solder joint issues.  I can tell you that after running for 50 hours continuously, this one has a clean bill of health and sounds stellar!

The cabinet is a 4-10 sub, 4 ohm and is a perfect match for the head.
