This is a vintage 1969 Marshall JMP 50W Lead HALF stack. Purchased new from Manny's Music in NYC, this rig has had a single owner. It has a small box, metal front Model 1987 head, which is 100% all original, including its Mullard EL34 and Brimar 12AX7 tubes. It is in incredible cosmetic condition, with only some light tarnish on its handle, and some worn silk screen numbers around its tone controls. It recently had a brand new Bulgin power cable made by Cutthroat Audio, and has a padded slip cover.
UPDATE: The Straight Cabinet has been sold! 1982A Angled cabinet is in great shape with a few rips and nicks in its tolex. Both cabinets are loaded with their original Celestion 12", 16Ω Greenbacks, wired with newer speaker wire.
This amp works and sounds great! The head, being all original, is being sold as-is. We provided general service to the amp: all pots are scratch free, tube sockets have been tensioned and cleaned, and bias has been set. It is rare to find these amps untouched, and it may work great for years to come, but being this is a vintage amplifier, it will eventually need service in the future. That said, this stack is unbelievably cool and sounds killer!
