This is a fantastic sounding chrome over brass snare drum! A signature model for a timeless influence on the drumming world by arguably the greatest pioneers in drum manufacturing for half a century or more! A coveted vintage brand for collectors throughout history. When I got this snare, a prior owner had replaced the factory butt plate and it was missing the internal muffler. I invested in both and restored it to it’s original era appropriate specs (minus the snare wires). See in the pics two non original holes from the aftermarket butt plate visible with the original era butt plate mechanism that has been swapped out. I also upgraded the Remo Ambassador batter head. The reso head is a DW snare side made by Remo.
