About This Listing
I don’t know the year of this guitar but the builder was the first apprentice of master Kohno, starting in his shop in 1959 and he left sometime in the early 1970’s and went on his own. His work is highly respected having been compared to the master himself. This one features a 670mm scale length and the frets have just been dressed. The guitar sounds great and plays well. Setup for higher action, see measurements below.
There is some wood discoloration in the back, several dings in the top, some filled cracks in the fingerboard, a professionally repaired top crack and some painted fret dots on the side of the neck. See pics for condition.
Case: new gig bag Scale Length: 670mm Nut Width: 51mm Frets Remaining: 8.5/10 Action at 12F (1st): 4mm Action at 12F (6th): 5mm Weight: 1744 grams Overall Condition: 7/10 Rare Factor: 11 out of 10
