At first glance, this may appear to be just a typical Casio home keyboard, however the truth is, this may be one of the most interesting Casio keyboards and vintage synthesizers.
The CTK-1000 was released right at the end of Casio's time in the pro synthesizer/audio market and features D-50 sounding ROM and a novel form of synthesis they patented and called "IXA" related but different to FM and Phase Distortion. They were released for only a short time and now are quite rare.
The sounds can be very nice and unique and are able to be edited to a degree. Also features an interesting DSP effects section that adds to the characterful sound and a useful multitrack recorder and arranger.
This unit is quite clean and in excellent shape. Fully functional and should be considered well preserved.
