This listing is for a Vintage 1940's Dickerson Model 3HGA Tube Guitar Amplifier. This amplifier was made by Magnatone under the Dickerson brand name in circa 1947. This is a very cool looking amp with Hawaiian motif on the grill and MOTS (Mother of Toilet Seat) exterior. These are roughly 8 watts with a single 6L6 and are not terribly loud but have a good sound. The speaker on this one dates to 1947. The cabinet on this one was cracked in a few placed and repaired, see pics. The cabinet is now solid but can see where is was cracked and glued. The amp has been gone over by a tech and some of the capacitors were replaced and a new 3 prong power cable was installed. The transformers are original. The grill cloth is heavily worn and the MOTS exterior shows some wear and some of the MOTS is starting to flake off the top. Please look at the pictures and message with questions.
