The new Master Artisan Collection is a collaboration between the Gibson Custom Shop and select luthiers from around the world. These ten (10) Flying Vs by iconoclastic luthier Leo Scala are the first offering from the new Master Artisan Collection. Each of these ten individual instruments are custom designed and built to be fully functional, authentically Gibson, and completely one of a kind. When Gibson Brand President Cesar Gueikian first met Leo Scala, at his small workshop in Los Angeles, their shared passion for guitars — and for Gibson — sparked the idea for Scala to put his own spin on the story of the ‘58 Korina Flying V.
