The Apex Burn In method happens prior to matching and runs each tube with a continuous identically high plate current for eight hours (at about 90% of the maximum rated plate dissipation). The plate current is auto-controlled by a self regulating circuit to ensure each tube is burned-in using the same amount of constant plate current.

The Apex Matching systems are highly robust and extremely accurate, measuring current and voltage to provide the best possible matching for tubes.
