Okay, here we have the rarest of the Epiphone Masterbilt series, the Epiphone AJ-500RC 12 fret.
Slotted headstock, neck meets body at the 12th fret, this is pretty much the Epiphone version of a Martin Ditson.
Here are the specs:
Solid cedar top. Solid Indian rosewood back and sides. Mahogany neck with stacked heel and slotted headstock. Open-gear, vintage-style tuners. Indian rosewood fretboard and bridge. Dovetail neck joint. Sating polyester finish with polyurethane top coat. 25.5-inch scale. 1 ¾-inch nut.
This one is all original except these AJ's are known for the bridge pulling up thanks to some bad gluing at the Epiphone factory but not to worry, I've already had my luthier take off the bridge and reglue it so the only known issue with these guitars is already taken care of. Comes with original Epiphone Masterbilt hybrid softshell/hardshell case with hydrometer.
Great condition, unbelievable tone, and just a beautiful guitar!!! Don't miss your chance to own the Kaiser Souze of the Epiphone Masterbilt line of guitars because once this baby is gone it's going to be tough to find another....
