Where do I begin? This is originally an Oki Reel to Reel tape player / recorder (that part needs repair), it also has a home built transistor amp (I’m assuming for additional power), probably a Heath Kit or Radio Shack jobby. I’ll tell you why I grabbed it, and perhaps why it may be of some interest to others.... beyond the electronics, I was really taken by the 2 speakers, they really are groovy. I thought I might work then into some little tiny 5 watt tube amp, or see what Frankenstein sound I could get from it as is..... BTW I have played my guitar through it as is and it’s really cool, funky, old school sounding. (My first amps were rigged like this). Okay, beyond the condition of the 2 speakers which are fab, and really clean, the whole possibility had my attention. Looks to be a little 5” or 6” with a tweeter of sorts in each speaker. Cutting to the chase, this is for freaks like me, it’s an “as is”, see what you can do with it, funky little project. I am COVERED up in projects.... Again, the reel to reel has some kind of jam problem, but the power amp in both devices is working. It’s fairly heavy so I’ve trimmed the asking price super low to help with shipping.
