This is a RARE, authentic, Nashville made, Gibson USA SG that has 3 incredible pickups with 6 way pickup selection! The tones seem ENDLESS! It is full on rockn'roll... and you can get almost any tone from any rock era, and almost any other style of music as well. It's great for someone in a cover band spanning many different covers or for the original artist looking to set themselves apart from all your typical tones willing to venture into a new tonal universe! It does classic rock, new rock, punk, metal, country, reggae, new age, r&b, jazz, and blues even better than some guitars made specifically for those sounds. Don't sell yourself short, for a great price you can get what would seem like a few handfuls of guitars. And the neck feel is the best part! It feels like butter!!!
This was a workhorse guitar getting the job done for real hardworking musicians and rock stars out there, so there is typical players wear and pick scratching on the pickguard and upper body with a few spots I focused on in the pics. Most of which can't be seen on the ebony finish unless in the right light.
2 small spots near the volume/tone knobs One small dent on the upper half of top wing. And some small abrasion near the input jack but no paint loss. Typical fading/corrosion of gold hardware on tops of pickups and bridge.
For a guitar 10 years old this thing is in great condition and functionally everything from tuners, nut, neck, electronics, etc. works fantastically. You won't have any problems gigging this thing on the first night you get it.
