About This Listing

Up for sale is a 2006 Parker Fly Mojo in "Flame" red.

The outer condition is I think pretty standard for a well-played instrument from 2006, but it does likely have a truss-rod issue (more below). The biggest ding is in pictured on the headstock, but it also has some buckle rash. There is scuffing on the horn from strap wear. There are a couple dings on the front too, you should be able to see a tiny one just below the bridge. There are others but those are the biggest I can see. I tried to picture the swirling below the strings from strumming.

It is definitely player grade with dings and swirls. It has some electronics quirks, and likely has a loose truss-rod anchor. It ships with paperwork, allen wrenches for all the nuts, trem arm, 10 butterfly spring (9 installed) in original hard-shell case.

It has recently been set up by the pros at NC Guitar Works and has the 9 spring fitted. I will ship it in bridge-locked mode, but a simple twist of the locking screw in the back will give you floating bridge. I love the trem on this guitar, it's the most comfortable, natural feeling trem I've ever played and it stays in tune amazingly well.

Electronics-wise there are a few issues to note. The G string piezo pickup is a bit persnickety, it works fine unless the note is bent, when you bend the note too far the pickup cuts out. Unfortunate that this is commonly bent string. This is a relatively common issue with these guitars and I believe it has to do with how the string lays across the pickup. The piezo/pickup switch probably needs to be replaced or oiled or something, when switching back to pickup mode it needs a little jiggle to get the piezo to disengage.

Last but not least, there is likely an issue with the truss rod. The guitar is setup pretty well, but you can see that there is a bump at the top back of the neck. I think this is caused from the truss rod anchor bulging. Despite this, I have played and loved this guitar for many years. But as my tastes have moved on to acoustic, it's time to let her go. Thanks for looking. Feel free to ask any questions.
