About This Listing

This is the Corvette someone bought and never drove, and then some!  I purchased in 2016 after it had recently been serviced by the previous owner and then proceeded to play it about 6 times. It works great - all controls work well, key action is perfect, no cosmetic damage.  Since this thing is almost as old as I am, I can’t speak for its whole lifetime, but to my knowledge this unit has always been kept in smoke-free studio environments.
IMPORTANT! This listing also includes a Starsdust custom Jupiter 6 dust cover and Swan Flight custom wheeled hard case, both new (purchased in 2016 and never left the studio), a $750+ value by themselves.  Power supply and single 1/4” patch cable included. Stool & stand are not.

Product Overview
The Roland Jupiter-6, although it was initially created as a more affordable alternative to the famous and beloved Jupiter-8, is a great six-voice polysynth in its own right, serving up iconic analog Roland sounds. Introduced in 1983, the 61-key Jupiter-6 added MIDI capabilities and improved upon the oscillator stability of the 8. Despite its heritage as a cheaper take on the 8, the Roland Jupiter-6 has become a classic synth in and of itself.
