1989 Rockoon Japan (by Kawai) RHB-40 Bass (White)

"Rockoon is the high performance guitar created by the skilled and uncompromising craftsmanship of Kawai". Essentially these are the boutique style range from Kawai (in collaboration with Schaller) that were made in Japan in the 80's and 90's.
The RHB-40 has a basswood body with a hard maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (24 frets, 32” scale), weighs 3.5kg’s. Passive Kawai Japan PJ pickups with 2v and 1t controls. 
This one has a non-responsive truss, however it plays reasonably well as it sits. Fretboard was oiled and the frets were polished prior to listing.
