Mesa Boogie John Petrucci JP-2C Gold Pin Option JJ Retube(TM) Kit with 5881's

Looking for a really smooth and rich tone with less grit and an earlier breakup from the power tubes? This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Mesa John Petrucci JP-2C. This kit includes five Gold Pin ECC83S's with one being balanced for the phase inverter in V5.

The power tubes are a premium matched quad of the JJ Electronic 5881's. The JJ 5881's have lots of Jangle and more of a Tweed vibe, they will lower the output a bit too. These are a 23 watt tube so power tube distortion will set in a little earlier. This Retube Kit is plug and play with no bias worries.

All our Mesa Retube Kits include power tubes that are hand selected to run perfectly in Mesa amps. We have extensive hands-on experience measuring the fixed bias points in these amps and what grade of tubes will achieve optimal performance.

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.

If you want all the power and fidelity to get from your amp to your speakers then check out our custom made 10 Gauge speaker cables in our Reverb storefront. These cables are the largest cables made and leave no frequency unheard!

The video below shows both our preamp tube testing and power tube matching procedures here at Eurotubes which are second to none. We may not be the cheapest, but we are arguably the best.
