This is a powered subwoofer designed for recording studio use. It was the flagship subwoofer from Event Electronics in the early 2000s. It sold for over $1,000 new. It works with mono, stereo, or 5.1-channel surround monitoring systems, and anything in between. It is fully functional and sounds great. I am the original owner, and I have only used it in my smoke-free home studio. It has some minor blemishes due to occasionally moving it.
