Ibanez Ibanez AFC95 hollow body Natural Flat.

Ibanez has a well-earned reputation for making high quality hollow-body guitars, showing up in the hands of legends such as Joe Pass, Lee Ritenour, John Scofield, and Pat Metheny, to name a few.
This AFC95 continues that tradition. It originally shipped with flat-wound strings, so they mean serious jazz business! When you can get past the stunning flame maple back and sides, you will find a guitar that is incredibly easy to play. The thinner body lets you enjoy the hollow body "vibe", without the girth of many traditional jazz boxes. The ebony fingerboard has classy, understated position markers, and the compensated ebony bridge intonates nicely.
Two Alnico mini-humbuckers, while not the highest output, offer subtle tones contrasting between warmth in the neck position, and brighter (but not shrill) in the bridge position. All managed with straight forward controls- 3 way switch, and 2 volume, 2 tone.
* There is one small topical finish crack at the input jack, likely from someone stepping on the cable, or leaving the cable plugged in while on a stand.  Nothing that affects the playability or function of the instrument.
This guitar certainly represents Ibanez' attention to detail (they even lined the F-holes with faux tortoise shell binding!) and will be a nice addition to the successful purchaser's collection.
