This is Gibson 330 with a story.  I believe it to be all original and with the original case.  I got it in the late 80's. It was like Stradivarius. It has the tiniest little neck. The pickups are like opera singers. Then the Northridge Quake happened and it was a victim.  

I was hanging out with Danny Ferrington a lot at the time and he was charging as much as a house to build a guitar.  His clients were Kurt Cobain, Johnny Cash, Elvis Costello and basically everyone who was anyone.  He told me to bring it by.  6 months later he told me to come pick it up.... it was nothing short of master craftsman level luthiering. He didn't really care about the serial number and probably put too much finish in there.  So the number is very hard to read.  I've taken it to a couple guitar stores who both landed on '65, so I've gone with that.  Do whatever diligence that you need.  I don't want to pull off any of Danny's work to get the exact date. 

The headstock is the only place I can tell there was repair.  And that is only because it was done so long ago... it's pulled a little.  There could be some re-gluing there in the future. There are requisite dings, bumps and blems which are commensurate with a 56 year old instrument.  Ask questions before you buy. 

It comes with what I believe is the original hardshell case that is in great condition.
