About This Listing

Description française :

MAD PROFESSOR - FOREST GREEN COMPRESSOR - Compresseur

English description :

MAD PROFESSOR - FOREST GREEN COMPRESSOR - Compressor

Pedal designed to meet the expectations of guitarists and bass players in terms of compression, it has extremely low noise level and a large input headroom which gives it a minimum of noise and distortion for a wide variety of input signals. Its Compressor/Sustain switch allows it to be used as a classic compressor or as a sustainer.

In Sustain mode it is very dynamic, responds very well to touch and of course offers a lot of sustain. Without loss of attack, it is very good for blues musicians and perfect for playing slide. The Level control in Compressor mode affects the overall volume and allows the pedal to be used as a booster. In Sustain mode, this setting no longer affects the general volume but the sustain level.

The Compr. determines compression and sustain. At low setting it will act on the peaks, at high setting the touch response will be weaker, at maximum setting the output will be very compressed while maintaining clarity and almost infinite sustain.

This model uses the same components as the hand-assembled model, but is assembled in series to reduce its final cost.
