This pickup is the 7-string version of the Seymour Duncan SH-6b Duncan Distortion Mayhem Bridge Pickup, passive mount, uncovered.

The Duncan Distortion has been a staple for Metal, Thrash, Punk, and Hard Rock players for generations. Now that classic, vicious attack is ready for 7 string guitars.

Loaded with a large ceramic magnet and red hot coils, the SH-6 is blistering and tight, exploding with output. You'll feel increased midrange while bass notes stay thick and articulate. In a 7 string guitar you'll hear previously unrealized harmonics from your B and F# strings.

Available in neck and bridge. Use the Distortion neck for hot, searing solos or pair with the lower output Sentient or Jazz in the neck for warm, smooth leads.

Sounds brutal in almost anything, but can add extra the oomph that might be missing from guitars with mahogany bodies and necks.

Players include Willie Adler (Lamb of God), Kevin Skaff (A Day To Remember), Scott Hendrick (Skeletonwitch, James Malone (Arsis), Ola Englund, Keith Merrow
