1968-1969 Gibson SG Standard. This is a original Late 60s SG. Batwing pick guard, lyre vibrola, original double line Klusons, pat # sticker pickups, wiring harness is all original switch tip is a replacement maybe the selector ring is non original. Guitar pays well and the pickups sound great! Pots, switch and output jack appear to be original, though I am having trouble reading the date code. It looks like someone may of tried to remove the pickup covers and maybe they did and then reinstalled them. I just noticed that it looks someone desolder them and pried at the covers, though they look correct. It has an old headstock / neck (pics 3 & 4 )repair wasdone by Giullano in White Plains NY from back in the mid 80s. There are a few touchups on the body/ top near the bass side of the vibrola and the bass side across from the bridge pickup, that are less then professionally done but that can be easily fixed. The strap pin has also been moved for what reason I have know idea. The guitar has plenty of wear and some finish crazing. There are some spots around the control cavity area also I didn't want to go crazy and try and buff that area out. Frets are wide low but still playable. Very cool guitar that plays well and sounds great! Really nice action, and the Patent # pickups sound killer! Ships with a newer rectangular hard case.
