Godin SessionI really like this guitar, but I don't really need this guitar, and I'm running out of space, so it's got to go.
- Hand-Made in Canada on January 12, 2010
- Wine Red -This seems to be a rare color for this model.
- Canadian Laurentian Basswood Body -Much heavier and way more solid than any basswood I've ever felt.
- Rock Maple Neck w/ Rosewood Fretboard
- 22 Medium/Jumbo Frets Lots of life left, they actually feel too tall for me
- Bolt-On Construction Very solid.
- 25 1/5" Scale Length
- 1 5/8" Nut Width -I actually measured 1.645", Godin's website says it supposed to be 11/32", not even close, no idea why, I think think is an older one.
- Very comfortable neck profile Not too fat, but not too thin!
- Original Godin Pickups
- Bridge Humbucker sounds and is splittable via a push/pull pot on the tone knob.
- Middle and Neck Single Coils sound fat and juicy!
- 5-Way Switch, Volume, & Tone w/ Push/Pull pot for coil splitting the humbucker.
- Bright Cap Mod added for clear tone when rolling back the volume knob. Sounds stock at 10, cleans up but doesn't mud up when volume is less than 10.
- Tone Cap changed to the "normal" humbucker value of .022uF using a quality film and foil capacitor, I'll give you the original cheap ceramic .033uF if you want it.
- Professionally Set-Up for nice comfortable low action with fresh DR Strings .010"s. Freshly polished frets, fretboard oiled with raw organic coconut oil, intonation set.
- Great Condition! Some normal playing wear and maybe a small nick or two on the sides, but overall in VG+ condition.
- Comes w/ Godin Gig Bag Good condition, tons of pockets, small tear in front mesh pocket.
