I got this guitar in a bundle of projects. I was going to take a shot at doing a functional restoration but have too many projects, and it really isn't my style anyway. I'm estimating this is about a 1986 model based on comparing the serial number to other listings that I found.
Someone before me had done some bad paint work on this guy. I was hoping the original finish was still underneath but it wasn't so I took the junk paint off and did a primer coat and that is where it is now. Neck painted with black paint is actually not terrible, feels really fast. I haven't done anything with that.
It definitely has some condition issues (see pictures). There is a gouge on the edge of the fretboard and the end of the fret is also damaged. In general it looks like frets have some grooves in them. Neck does not seem to have any bow when a straight edge put on the frets. Truss rod nut turns and seems to snug up correctly but I have not strung up the guitar to test for straightness or flatness with string tension.
Feel free to ask any questions, I will do my best to answer them.
This will be taken apart and the pieces wrapped separately for shipping.
Sold as-is.
