The Gruene DG-50 is something special. Solid African Blackwood back & sides, Solid Adirondack Spruce top, Maple & Abalone for bindings, Mother-of-Pearl. The Back Purfling is a hand inlayed Mosiac pure Abalone pattern, the neck Solid Mahogany, Tuners are Black and Gold. 18-1 ratio. 

From the choice of wood to the choice of strings, to the choice of tuners this is truly one Special Guitar. It's been said that African Blackwood is the closest in tone and voice to that of Brazilian Rosewood.
