The compact GS Mini e Koa Plus' scaled-down design blends ultra-portability with the voice and projection of a full-size guitar, while Taylor’s patented The Taylor neck guarantees signature Taylor playability.

Building on the amazing success in the GS mini line up, Taylor is proud to introduce the GS Mini e Koa Plus acoustic electric guitar. The GS Mini-e Koa Plus combines a solid Hawaiian Koa top with layered Hawaiian Koa back and sides in a beautiful shaded edgeburst finish. As a tropical hardwood, a koa top will project a warm and focused tone, with a touch of sparkle in the high end presence, creating a sweet bloom of midrange overtones. Equipped with Taylor’s legendary ES2 active electronics system, the GS Mini e Koa Plus is stage and recording ready. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned professional, the GS Mini e Koa Plus is the perfect starter, travel, and companion guitar. Crafted with responsibly sourced West African ebony for the fretboard and bridge, the guitar ships with a new, ultra-sturdy Aerocase.

Expression System 2:
The Taylor Expression System 2 (ES2) is a revolutionary pickup design that delivers the latest in Taylor’s ongoing innovation in acoustic guitar amplification. The heart of the Expression System 2 is Taylor’s patented behind-the-saddle pickup, which features three uniquely positioned and individually calibrated pickup sensors. The location of the sensors enables a more dynamic range of acoustic sound to be captured than ever before. Together with Taylor’s custom-designed “professional audio”-grade preamp, this system produces exceptional amplified tone and responsiveness. On stage through a PA, plugged into your favorite acoustic amplifier, or direct into recording software, the Expression System 2 faithfully conveys the voice of your Taylor guitar.
