Selling this 80’s Hamer blitz. Its in pretty good shape for its age. It has some dings and chips here and there. Someone touched up most with a pretty close matching paint and some Sharpie work. The worst of it is near the nut, low-E side. I'll get a pic and post (pic added).  Some belt rash but mostly on the springs cover. It came to me with black keys, half of which were damaged. I had a set of chrome Hamer keys laying around, so…. It has an old school Floyd with the slot screw posts. Trem arm could use a re-paint. Schaller strap locks. Bridge pickup is an EMG-81. Neck pick up is a Seymour I think and not hooked up. First 2 knobs are volume and tone. Third knob is not hooked up. 3-way switch is not hooked up either. The electronics cavity cover has a hole drilled through it for some reason and is not secured with the original screws. I screwed in an old jack because it looks better than the hole. Didn’t come to me with a case. I got one off eBay. Guitar plays and sounds great.

EDIT:

My first buyer left feedback stating my “packaging job and materials were terrible” even though he received it safe and secure. I’ll post my response here since he never bothered to ask me about it.

For the packing I used industrial shrink wrap. A new machine came in at work covered with it. Instead of throwing it away I used it as packing. It is basically a giant piece of scrunched up Saran Wrap. If you have enough it works great for packing. I’ve used it many times and people shipping me guitars have used it many times as well. I’ve never heard of anyone having a problem with it. For the cardboard, I use whatever I can find and a whole roll of tape gun tape. I’ve been selling guitars this way for decades without a single problem or complaint.

I’m not a store and I don’t have a shipping department. My packages may look like frankenboxes from scrounged packaging materials at work, but the protection is absolutely first rate. I’m not trying to make something pretty that makes buyers happy when it shows up. My goal is to get it to you as safe and secure as possible and if I have to send it to you in the worlds ugliest box, then that’s what I’ll do.

Sensitive buyers looking for an aesthetically pleasing packaging experience should probably shop elsewhere.
