Product Description:

Our SD18CE is a traditional dreadnought in every respect except for its sound. Made with a solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, its woods are a classic configuration for this style guitar but its internal construction is a forward shifted scalloped X bracing system with some proprietary tweaks. This creates a more modern, more open and more dynamic tonal palette than many traditional dreadnoughts.
This is our acoustic electric model with the fantastic SET65 dual pickup system and EQ from B-BAND. A premium system which recreates the guitars natural tone when plugged in and allows the player to find the sound they need for different playing styles by blending between the under saddle, or bridge plate pick up. The system also has a three band graphic EQ and digital, backlit tuner.
The SD18CE is warm sounding guitar. The middle and bass registers are prominent and for strumming or flat-picking this guitar is fantastic. The sound box is alive and therefore the guitar is more responsive and playing it is a lot of fun.    
Traditional components such as a real bone nut and saddle, mahogany neck with a dovetail joint and rosewood bridge and fingerboard add to its tonal capabilities and overall quality, and cosmetically it’s a true classic with tortoiseshell binding and pickguard.

What was refurbished on this guitar: When this guitar came in from the factory, the only issue found by the authorized refurbisher was a minor finish imperfection on the face of the headstock (see photo). No repairs or modifications were made to the guitar - they simply gave it a set-up and left it alone. Aside from the cosmetic flaw, it looks and plays like new.
