You are viewing a used Hamer USA Phantom Guitar that comes with a hardcase.åÊ This guitar was manufactured in late 1998 based on the serial number.åÊ It has numerous light scratches on the body that were not able to be pictured since they never showed up in them.åÊ However, there are more visible scratches on the back of the guitar near the plate and near the edge.åÊ There is some slight discoloration on the back of the neck.åÊ The tip of the headstock has a couple of marks that can be seen in the pictures.åÊ Despite all this, there is little to no fret wear.åÊ It looks amazing still and when you're playing it, no one can really see the minor cosmetic issues.åÊ It's a great guitar that plays well.

For the few here that may not know the history: In �Ûª97, Hamerreintroduced one of its earliest original designs, the Prototype, usinganother model name, the Phantom (PHAN). This had the Prototype�Ûªs equaldouble-cutaway body with the extended upper horn and rounded lowerbout. As before, this new Phantom�Ûªs triple-coil pickup was acombination of a humbucker and single-coil in a single pickup ring.Pickups are Seymour Duncans. The Phantom has a Honduras mahogany body,glued-in neck, three-and-three headstock, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard,dot inlays, finetune bridge and stop tailpiece. This Phantom lastedonly a year before it was replaced by the Phantom Custom (PHANC).
