I get the "coolest" stuff. ;-)

What we have here is another unit I seriously want to keep because of it's Unique styling and Innovative design.
This unit is Equipped with a Magnetic Phono Input so that you can use a high quality or Vintage Turntable.
Everything works perfectly and it's been playing for a good 20 hours and several times in my "rotation for about a year. You either love the look or hate it. I love it. Always liked their "outside the box" styling and solid construct.
The top comes off and there's an access panel underneath for serviceability.
Not you'll need it. this is a NO ISSUE unit.
I'll say this is an equivalent to a Pioneer SX-737 Same power output and better specs.
Aside from being way cooler looking. You'll spend way more than this for one that's in as good shape on one of those.

JVC - Model JR-S201
Made in Japan "DC Integrated Receiver"

It's in wonderful condition as manifested by all the pictures. Please inspect all photos closely as they are the final word in description. The is a bit of rash on the top which I photoed close up. It always looks worse in pics than up close and personal. I also cleaned it deeply - into those styling grooves up on the top and left and right sides and right don to the power cord. Didn't need much cleaning. A bit of the print at the volume level increments are worn, again, see the close up. Lamps all work and ...
WOW !!! ......Those Meters !! - Add that the stereo indicator light comes on with Stereo FM signal strength as does the Centering meter ( it's a bit off but that's pretty common when tuning into the the Multiplexing peak point, meter.  The Built in equalizer is switchable and all the controls are concise and quiet. Tape monitor for Two Tape decks (with Tape out on both) and and AUX Input. The lighting is subtle. The entire dial is very dimly lit id at all the light sits behind the Fm Dial (station frequency) and moves up and down as you slide up or down.  The meters are also two level lighting. Pictures show this.

An awesome standout piece that would be a great conversation starter even if it didn't work. That Radio Tuning Knob, reminiscent of Marantz' style has a good flywheel action flying smoothly across the dial when you give it a spin. One doesn't come across these in this condition often. I paid a premium for it but I simply can't keep everything. Compare this to say, a Pioneer SX-737 - same power and is very conventional looking going for more that this. Dare to break the mold. Be the first one on your block to get something really cool that stands out in the crowd. ;-)
What's not to love about this thing ?
The picture may be a little deceiving. This is a BIG Unit
(see measurements below)

This is an amazingly Clean piece of 70's edgy styling.
